What is Child Mode?

Child Mode simplifies the Space interface for participants by limiting access to certain tools and features.

When enabled, participants see a cleaner workspace with only essential tools, while hosts retain full control.

Participants will:

  • See a simplified toolbar (draw, erase, move, undo/redo)

  • Have limited video call controls (mic and camera only)

  • Be unable to access panels like chat, boards, or apps

Hosts will:

  • Continue to have full access to all tools and controls

  • Be able to turn Child Mode on or off at any time
