Observer Mode allows admins to enter a Space without being seen by other participants. This is useful for monitoring sessions without interrupting or influencing the experience.
💡 Pro Tip
Use Observer Mode when you want to review a session quietly without notifying participants.
What Happens in Observer Mode?
When you enter a Space as an observer:
You are invisible to others
Your presence (cursor, avatar, or indicators) is hidden from participants, but hosts can still see that you are present
You can move between boards, views, and rooms freely
You can join calls and watch in real time
To maintain invisibility, observers have limited actions:
Certain buttons and controls are disabled
You cannot perform actions that affect the session (e.g., tweak settings)
You cannot interact in ways that reveal your presence (e.g., general chat)
