How to manage participant permissions?

As a host, you can control which tools and features each participant can access during a session.

How to Manage Permissions for All Participants

  1. Click the People icon.

  2. Open the Settings tab.

  3. Locate the permission you want to adjust.

  4. Toggle the checkbox on or off to apply the change to all participants.

  5. Click Update.

How to Manage Permissions for Individual Participants

This is especially useful for group classes where you may want certain students to have different permissions. For example, disabling access to the microphone, scribble tool, chat, or other collaboration features.

  1. Click the People icon.

  2. Open the Settings tab.

  3. Locate the permission you want to adjust.

  4. Click the > icon next to the permission.

  5. A list of participants will appear. Find the participant whose permissions you want to change.

  6. Toggle the permission on or off as needed.

  7. Click Update to save your changes.
