When youâre working on a Pencil Spaces whiteboard, you can move around the canvas, zoom in on specific content, or adjust your view to see the whole board. Here are the different ways to navigate, depending on your device and preferences.
Move around the board
Use the Move tool to pan around the canvas. Select the tool, then click and drag anywhere on the canvas to move your view.
You can also navigate using these methods:
Trackpad: Swipe with two fingers to move around the canvas.
Mouse: Right-click and drag to pan, or use the scroll wheel to move up and down.
Keyboard: Use the arrow keys to move up, down, left, or right.
Change the zoom level
To zoom in or out, open the Navigator and click the + or â buttons in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
You can also adjust the zoom using these methods:
Trackpad: Pinch in or out to zoom.
Keyboard: Press + to zoom in and - to zoom out.
Keyboard and mouse: Hold Ctrl on Windows or Command (â) on Mac while scrolling.
Reset your view
The Navigator includes two options to help you reposition the canvas, depending on what you want to see.
Back to center
Open the Navigator and click Back to center. Your view will return to the boardâs initial position and zoom level.
Fit to view
Open the Navigator and click Fit to view. Your view will automatically adjust to display all objects on the board within your viewport.
