Private boards give each participant their own workspace within a shared Space. Theyâre useful for assessments, quizzes, individual exercises, and other activities where participants should be able to work independently.
You can create a private board for each participant from the Boards menu, or duplicate an existing board to give everyone their own copy of the same template.
Create a private board for each participant
Use this option when you want to create new private boards for all students in your Space:
Click Boards on the left side of your Space.
Click the dropdown arrow (â¨) on the split button, and select Private board per participant.
Choose which participants should receive a board:
All participants: Creates a board for everyone in the Space.
Online participants only: Creates boards for participants who are currently online.
The new private boards will be organized inside a folder, making them easier to find and manage.
Duplicate a board for each participant
If youâve already prepared a board for an assessment, quiz, or activity, you can duplicate it to create a separate, private copy for each participant. This lets everyone work from the same starting point, while still keeping their workspaces separate:
Locate the board you want to duplicate from your Boards list.
Click the three-dot icon (âŻ) beside the boardâs name and select Duplicate board.
Select As private board per participant and follow the prompts to complete the duplication.
The duplicated boards will be organized in a folder, with a separate private copy for each participant.
