You can easily download a board from Pencil Spaces as an image file and save it to your computer. This is useful when you want to keep a copy of your lesson materials, share a board outside of Pencil Spaces, or refer back to its contents later.
Note: You must be a host in the Space to download boards. This feature is also only available on paid plans only. Free-tier institutions and Guest Spaces cannot access it. For more information on how to upgrade your plan, see our guide: How do I upgrade my plan?
How to download a board as an image
Follow these steps to export your board as an image:
In the Space with the board you want to download, open the Board Manager from the bottom-left corner of your Space or by pressing Alt + B on your keyboard.
Locate the board in the Board Manager and click the three-dot menu (âŻ) beside its name.
Select Download board.
Choose Save as Image to download the board to your device.
The export may take a moment to prepare. Once the file is ready, you can save it to your computer. A pop-up will confirm when the export is successful.
