The Web Viewer in Pencil Spaces is an embedded browser within your Space. It lets teachers and students browse the web together without opening new tabs or switching between apps.

The Web Viewer lets everyone in the Space interact with the same webpage in real time — ideal for group browsing and collaboration.

How do I use it?

You can open multiple Web Viewers at once, each acting as its own browser with separate tabs.

Using the Web Viewer in your Spaces is simple. With the following steps, you will be able to surf the web within the confines of your Space in no time!

  1. Inside the Space, navigate to the left-hand side of your screen, towards the apps sidebar.

  2. Next, click the “Web” button. This opens the Web Viewer on your board.

    Make sure you are on "Select" mode and double click the Web Viewer to edit and interact with it.

  3. Now, you'll be able to surf the web within your Space!
