Pencil Spaces lets you customize the look and feel of your institution across Spaces, video calls, emails, and other parts of the platform.
Branding is available on Expert, Master, and Enterprise plans. Enterprise plans also include additional white-labeling options.

How to set up branding
To customize your institutionâs branding across Spaces, emails, and video calls:
From your Pencil Spaces dashboard, navigate to your Settings.
Select Branding.
Customize the available branding settings for your institution.
Click Update to save your changes.
How to customize your brand identity
The Brand Identity section of the branding settings control the images associated with your institution across Pencil Spaces:
Horizontal Image: Appears in the Waiting Room and in emails.
Watermark Image Appears in the bottom-right corner of the whiteboard.
Square Image: Your institutionâs main logo. It appears on video call tiles.
Customize the look of your Spaces
In the Inside Spaces section of your branding settings, you can customize several colors and backgrounds that people see while using or accessing your Spaces.
1) Inside Spaces
These settings affect the interface while users are inside a Space:
Top Bar background: Select the background color for the top bar inside a Space.
Gallery View and Bottom Bar background: Select the background color of Gallery View and the bottom bar inside a Space.
Waiting Room background: Select the background color displayed in the Waiting Room.
2) Outside Spaces
These settings affect the interface outside individual Spaces, including the Spaces Manager:
Spaces Manager Sidebar background: Select the background color for the Spaces Manager sidebar.
Spaces Manager Switcher Sidebar background: Select the background color for the institution switcher sidebar.
Spaces Manager Sidebar Active Item background: Select the background color for the currently selected item in the Spaces Manager sidebar.
Primary Brand color: Select your institutionâs primary brand color, used for all confirmation buttons in Pencil Spaces.
Note: Brand Identity colors use hexadecimal color codes. If you arenât sure what the hex codes for your brand colors are, you can use image color picking tools online.
Add virtual backgrounds
You can upload virtual backgrounds that people in your institution can choose during video calls.
You can also enable Only allow institution backgrounds if you want to prevent people in your institution from using default or custom virtual backgrounds.
