Everyone can delete their own messages in chat, while hosts can also delete other user's messages in the Space or Room chat.
Deleting a single message
Open your chat panel and find the message you’d like to remove.
Hover over the message until a trash can icon appears.
Click the trash icon to delete the message.
Once deleted, you’ll see a confirmation that the message was removed successfully. Deleted messages cannot be recovered.
Deleting everything in Space or Room chat
Hosts are able to clear everything in the Space chat.
Open your chat panel and select "Chat" under "Everyone in this Space"
Select the '...' icon on the top of the panel and click "Clear Chat"
Click 'OK' when prompted
Once confirmed, all messages in the Space chat will be erased (this cannot be undone). Private chats will not be affected. After clearing, the chat is reset and ready for new messages.
