If you see an error like “Camera / Microphone / Screen sharing denied by OS”, it usually means macOS hasn’t granted your browser the permissions it needs.
This guide shows you how to check and enable the right System Settings so video calling works properly.
Open macOS System Settings
Go to Privacy & Security
For screen sharing permissions, go to Screen & System Audio Recording.
For camera permissions, go to Camera
For microphone permissions, go to Microphone
Find your browser (for example, Chrome) and toggle it on to allow screen recording.
When prompted, click Quit & Reopen to apply your changes.
