The Text Tool is located just to the right of the Eraser tool and is used to add text to the whiteboard.

1. Using The Text Tool

To use the Text Tool, click on the T logo. Then, click anywhere on your whiteboard canvas, and start typing in the text box.

2. Editing Your Text

To edit the text that you have just created, double-click on the text box surrounding the text. From there, you not only have the option to edit your spelling and grammar, but you can also change the font, color, size, and format of the text.

You can also move the text box anywhere you'd like, change the layering, or even delete the text using the select tool or the eraser tool.

3. Live Text Typing

Pencil Spaces supports live text typing. When you use our text tool, everyone can see what people are typing on the whiteboard – while they type it!
