How to record calls on my device?

Written by Imran Ahmed

Local Recording captures your call directly on your device. Start the recording by sharing your screen and enabling your device’s local record option.

📝 Important

Local recordings are handled entirely within your browser and stored in its cache.

Because these recordings exist only locally, we cannot recover them if they are lost or corrupted (for example, after clearing your browser cache).

We recommend avoiding use unless you’ve thoroughly tested and confirmed your browser’s recording reliability.

Pencil Spaces also supports cloud recording! This saves your session directly to the cloud, so there’s no need to store large files on your device. Learn more
