Pencil Spaces offers multiple video layouts so you can choose the view that best fits your teaching or learning style.
Whiteboard Layout
This is the default layout. It lets you collaborate on the whiteboard while staying connected on the video call at the same time.
Gallery Layout
Use this layout to focus entirely on video tiles.
Click the Gallery button at the bottom-right of your screen.
The view will switch to a video-only gallery.
Pinned View
Pin a video tile to make it larger on your screen, such as a screen share or a speaker you want to focus on.
Hover over a video tile.
Click the Pin icon.
This view will enlarge the selected video tile.
Fullscreen View
For a more immersive experience, you can expand a video tile to full screen.
Hover over the video tile.
Click the Fullscreen icon.
This will maximize the selected video tile.
Pop-out (Picture-in-Picture) View
Stay connected to the call while working in another tab or app.
Simply opening another tab or app will automatically open the Pop-out view.
Alternatively, you can click the More (⋯) button and choose Open Picture-in-Picture.
