You can import Google Sheets into your Space and work on the spreadsheet directly from the whiteboard. Everyone in the Space can work with the same Google Sheet without opening it in a separate browser tab.
Note: Before you begin, make sure you have the shareable link to the Google Sheet you want to import.
How to import Google Sheets
To work on a Google Sheet collaboratively inside a Space:
Open the Apps list.
Find and select Google Sheets.
Paste the shareable link to your Google Sheet.
Click Import.
The Google Sheet will appear on the whiteboard and be ready to use.
Once the spreadsheet has been imported, all participants in the Space can access and work on the Sheet!
š” Pro tip: If you have the link to your Google Sheet copied to your clipboard, you can simply hit Ctrl + V (or ā + V on Mac) with the Select tool enabled to instantly import it.
What if someone canāt access the Google Sheet?
To work collaboratively on a Google Sheet, you need to make sure that everyone who needs to access the spreadsheet has permission to open it. If a participant canāt open or interact with the imported spreadsheet, double-check that they have access to the original Google Sheet.
You can manage access to the spreadsheet either in Google Sheets directly, or through Google Driveās sharing settings. Depending on your Google account and sharing settings, you can give specific people access or allow access to anyone with the link.
