How do I integrate with Teachworks?

The Teachworks and Pencil Spaces integration connects your scheduling workflow with an interactive online classroom, making it easy to schedule, launch, and manage online lessons directly from Teachworks.

Step 1: Create a Teachworks account

If you're new to Teachworks, start by signing up for an account.

Step 2: Create a Pencil Spaces account

If you don’t already have a Pencil Spaces account, sign up to get started. A free trial is available.

Step 3: Copy your Pencil Spaces API key

  1. Start by logging in to your Pencil Spaces account, and then click Settings.

  2. Navigate to the API & Integrations panel.

  3. Click the Generate API Key button.

  4. Once generated, copy your unique API key and store it somewhere securely. For security reasons, you won’t be able to view it again after refreshing the page.

Step 4: Enable the Pencil Spaces integration

  1. Go to Account panel in Teachworks

  2. Navigate to Integrations & Add-ons

  3. Find Pencil Spaces and click Enable

  4. Paste your Pencil Spaces API key into the required field.

  5. Click Save & Connect.


    Once connected successfully, your Pencil Spaces integration is ready to use.
