You can run Quizlet inside Pencil Spaces, so students don’t need to open another tab or switch windows. This helps keep everyone engaged and reduces distractions during class.
Host’s Perspective
Open quizlet.com in a new browser tab.
Find a Quizlet Live game (e.g., Live or Blast only). This app will only work for these activity types on Quizlet.
Start the live session and copy the join code.
Return to Pencil Spaces and add the Quizlet app to the whiteboard.
Once added, paste the join code. Then hit the Start Game button
If the Quizlet quiz loads successfully, you’ll see this message:
You can return to your main Quizlet tab to monitor player progress and results.
Participant’s Perspective
When the host adds the Quizlet app to the whiteboard, the students can see it immediately but in the setup phase.
After the host enters the join code, students will be prompted to enter their names to join.
From there, the experience is the same as using Quizlet—but now it all happens directly inside Pencil Spaces.
