How to know if this applies to you:
You are using Pencil Spaces on a device that runs on macOS
You have given your browser permission to use your camera and microphone, but your microphone is still not working
Your device's microphone works on other video conferencing tools
You might be using Pencil Spaces on a new browser or after a recent software update
Open System Preferences and click "Security & Privacy".
Navigate to "Privacy", then click on "Microphone".
Click the Lock icon to make changes.
Then, navigate to the browser that you use Pencil Spaces with.
If the browser you use doesn't have a checkmark next to it, select the checkmark and save your changes.
If the browser you are using does have a checkmark next to it, try to disable and re-enable the permission.
You will be asked to "Quit & Reopen" your browser to apply these changes.
Once you quit and re-open your browser, click the lock again to prevent further changes. Then, open Pencil Spaces in your browser and test to see if your microphone works.
