Pencil has several different methods to fix any issues you may have when loading into your Space as a result of a weak internet network.
Turning off your camera or minimizing your view
If your connection or your device performance is still down, you can turn off your camera to save on bandwidth. Turning off your camera will take some stress off your device, helping things work faster.
To turn off your camera, navigate to the video conferencing toolbar at the top of the page below your video and click "Stop Video".
Closing your tabs
If Pencil Spaces detects that your device is struggling to keep up, you can check for unused applications on your device that are hurting its performance.
Make sure to close any tabs that you are not currently using, and close any unused apps that are running in the background. This can help reduce CPU usage which helps Spaces load more efficiently.
Switching networks
If your connection is still down and there are several networks that you can choose from, switching your wifi network can potentially improve your connection. If you do not have multiple networks to choose from, resetting your router or troubleshooting your internet connection can help resolve the issue.
