We’re rolling out an update to cloud recording at your institution. With this change, recording the whiteboard is more seamless and causes fewer interruptions during sessions.
What’s changed
Previously, when you started a cloud recording (or when one started automatically), you saw a pop-up asking whether you wanted to record the whiteboard.
Now, that prompt is gone. Instead:
The whiteboard will be recorded automatically on the cloud
If you share your screen, the screen share automatically becomes the primary view in the recording.
What this means for you
Fewer interruptions: You'll no longer see any modals while recording, so you can stay focused on teaching.
Better network and device performance: We expect less lag, improved performance, and more reliable network behavior with this streamlined recording flow.
