Leave notes for your students that they can access even when youâre not in the Space with them by commenting on the Whiteboard.
In Pencil Spaces, teachers can leave comments on objects placed on the whiteboard.
This can be an extremely useful tool for teachers in many ways. For example, when checking homework completed in Pencil Spaces, and leaving guiding messages to help students understand where and how they can improve.
How to Leave a Comment in Pencil Spaces
Start by selecting the object on the Whiteboard and clicking the comment button to the very right of your object's toolbar.
From there, type out the message you would like to leave your student/students.
Once youâre happy with the message youâve made, send it off by clicking the blue send button.
From there, your student/students will be able to see the comment youâve left them any time they return to the Space.
You can continue to work on the Whiteboard or even leave and come back, and the comment you left will still be there.
How to find Comments on the Whiteboard
If multiple comments have been left on the Whiteboard, finding them by physically panning around and scouting them out can be difficult. Instead, open up your App Library at the bottom left-hand side of your Whiteboard.
Select âCommentsâ from within your Library, or search for it using the search bar.
From there, you can scroll through all current Whiteboard comments, or go ahead and add more to the Whiteboard!
