Although we're all for sharing content and information, sometimes, you don't want people to see everything in a Space. Let's take a look at our board access feature and how you can use it to create privacy within your Spaces.

1. Changing Board Access

To change who has access to specific boards in Pencil Spaces, follow the steps below:

  1. Once you've logged in and joined or created a Space, navigate to the upper left-hand corner of your screen and click the "View boards" button.

  2. Next, click the "3 Dots" button across from the board name and select "Change board access."

  3. From there, switch the access from "Everyone" to "Private."

  4. Then, use the search bar and click the boxes beside the names of those that you wish to allow to access the board.

  5. Finally, click "Confirm" at the bottom of the pop-up, and your board access settings will be saved.

2. Need More Help?

If the article linked in the section above doesn't help, please reach out to our team as soon as possible for additional assistance. Either:

  1. Click on the "Messenger" icon at the bottom right corner of this page, and follow the onscreen instructions.

  2. Click the "?" Button at the top right corner of your screen in an active Pencil Space on a computer to start a conversation with our team.
