The whiteboard toolbar provides you with three distinct writing tools to use in Spaces: the Pen Tool, the Highlighter Tool, and the Eraser Tool. Clicking any of these tools or using the keyboard shortcuts selects the tool.

1. Pen and Highlighter Tool

To activate the Pen tool, click on the Pen icon located on the bottom toolbar.

To activate the Highlighter tool, click on the highlighter icon located on the bottom toolbar.

When either of the drawing tools is active, you can see it lift up above the others.

To change the color and thickness of your Pen, click the same icon a second time to reveal the selector.

You can then choose the color and thickness, and click anywhere else to hide the selector. The color and thickness will remain the same until you change it manually or leave the Space.

To draw on the whiteboard, just click and drag anywhere on the canvas. You can always use the Select Tool to move, resize, rotate, change layers, or remove the object from the board.

2. Eraser Tool

To activate the Eraser tool, click on the Eraser icon or press "E" on your keyboard for a shortcut.

To use the Eraser Tool, either click on the object that you want to erase or click and drag over an area. Keep in mind that you can always delete objects using the Select Tool as well.

To Undo or Redo anything that you've done on the whiteboard canvas, you can simply use the "Undo" and "Redo" buttons located on the bottom toolbar.
