How to integrate with Zoom?

Written by Ville

Pencil Spaces integrates with Zoom to give you a shared whiteboard for your online meetings. You can collaborate on the same board while keeping your audio and video in Zoom.

Before you begin

To set up the integration, you’ll need:

  • A Zoom account with an email address.

  • The Zoom desktop client installed.

Note: Pencil Spaces is not available on Zoom mobile apps, the Zoom web client, or Zoom Rooms. If your organization requires approval for Marketplace apps, ask your Zoom admin to approve Pencil Spaces.

How to Add Pencil Spaces to Zoom

  1. Search for Pencil Spaces and open the app page.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Review the requested permissions and click Allow.

You can also add Pencil Spaces directly from a meeting:

  1. Start or join a meeting using the Zoom desktop client.

  2. Click Apps in the meeting toolbar.

  3. Find Pencil Spaces and click Add.

  4. Review the permissions and click Allow.
