How do I integrate with Bizstim?

Bizstim is an online business management platform designed for tutoring agencies. It helps businesses manage their scheduling, client relationships, billing, and staff tracking.

💡 Pro Tip: If you already have both a Pencil Spaces and Bizstim account, you can skip straight to Step 3 and connect them using your API key.

Step 1: Create a Bizstim account

If you’re new to Bizstim, start by signing up for an account.

Step 2: Create a Pencil Spaces account

If you don’t already have a Pencil Spaces account, sign up to get started. A free trial is available.

Step 3: Copy your Pencil Spaces API key

  1. Start by logging in to your Pencil Spaces account, and then click Settings.

  2. Navigate to the API & Integrations panel.

  3. Click the Generate API Key button.

  4. Once generated, copy your unique API key and store it somewhere securely. For security reasons, you won’t be able to view it again after refreshing the page.

Step 4: Add your API key to Bizstim

  1. Now that you’ve copied and saved your API key, you can log in to your Bizstim account.​

  2. From your Bizstim dashboard, expand the Settings section, and then enter the Settings panel.

  3. Navigate to the Calendar / Sessions page.

  4. Select Pencil Spaces.

  5. Paste your API key into the required field.

Step 5: Enable integration features

Once you’ve submitted your API key, you can then review the available integration options and select the features that you’d like to enable.

Once you’re happy with your selections, click Submit to save your settings.
