How to decline events?

If you’re unable to attend an event, you can decline it directly from the Schedule. Declining an event helps organizers stay informed and keeps your calendar up to date.

💡 Pro Tip

You can include an optional note when declining an event to let organizers know your reason.

How to Decline an Event

  1. Go to Schedule and select the event you want to decline.

  2. Click the three-dot icon. Click Decline.

  3. (Optional) Enter a note explaining your reason for declining.

  4. Click Decline to confirm.

  • Once declined, the event will appear with a strikethrough in your calendar, and a banner will confirm your action.



  • Event organizers will receive an email notification when you decline.
