How to grant admins access to all Spaces in settings?

Learn how to grant institutional and site admins access to Spaces.

  1. Accessing the setting

    • To access admin settings, click on the 3-dot icon on the top left corner of your window, next to Pencil Spaces and Home.
      ​

    • Choose Permissions from the Settings menu
      ​

    • Toggle-on the switch to Grant admins access to all the Spaces. Click on Update to save the setting.
      ​

  2. Effects of the setting

    1. Institution admins and site admins will have host permissions to the Spaces they should have admin roles in; i.e.
      ​

      • For Institution Admins, they will be able to see all the Spaces in their institution
        ​

      • For Institution Admins, even if they are not invited to these Spaces, they will be promoted to hosts automatically when they join the Space
        ​

      • Institution Admins will be able to perform all actions in a Space that requires host permissions. Actions like, viewing analytics, recordings, etc.
        ​

    2. And for Site admins,
      ​

      • All spaces that belong to their administrated sites will be visible
        ​

      • Even if site admins are not invited to these Spaces, they will be promoted to hosts automatically when they join the Space
        ​

      • Site Admins will be able to perform all actions in Spaces under their administered sites that require host permissions. Actions like, viewing analytics, recordings, etc.
        ​
